Found to have a teat spur. Papers were pulled by us and a pet home was found for her.

 

This finding was after double orfices were found on both teats to her sires littermate sister in her first freshening, pulled from breeding program and papers pulled by us. This was a shame as this doe was very promising and I was looking forward to having her in our program. Her littermate sister was also found to have it as well, her papers were also pulled by her current owner. Her sire and littermate brother were found to have a considerably high percentage of teat anomalies. As their current owners I made the decision to pull Busy Browsers DA Done It Good, his littermate sister with no found issues of her or progeny Busy Browsers DA Daddy's Girl from our breeding program and pulled their papers. While I was not their breeder, I made the decision I felt was best for not only my herd, but our breed, to have these high instances of anomalies eliminated from continuing to reproduce.

 

We have a half sibling that is still here for further evaluation on her first freshening.
